Bemba Rosary Prayers
This language is also known as Cibemba,
Chibemba, Ichibemaba, Wemba, and Chiwemba.
This language is spoken by 3,300,000 people in
Northern, Copperbelt, and Luapula provinces in Zambia. It is also spoken in Zimbabwe, Botswana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Malawi.

We Shifwe / Our Father / Pater Noster
We Shifwe waba mu mulu,
Shina lyobe licindikwe.
Ubufumu bobe bwise,
Fyonse fyo watemwa fibe
muno calo nga mu mulu.
Utupele lelo cakulya cesu ca nshiku shonse.
Utubelelyo luse ku masambi yesu,
filya twaba no luse ku bantu abatucusha.
Wileka tuwile mu fibi.
Utulubule ku fibi.

We-Shiifwe uwaba mumuulu;
ishina lyobe licindikwe.

Utubeeleleko uluse kufintu tukubiifya,
