This prayer is in the Kwanyama language, which is also known as Ochikwanyama, Kuanyama, Cuanhama, Humba, Kuanjama, Kwancama, Kwanjama, Kwanyama, Oshiwambo, Oshikuanjama, Oshikwanyama, Ovambo, and Oxikuanyama. It is spoken by 421,000 people in south central Angola. It is also spoken in Namibia.

Ohaikukundu Maria uiaddi ongalasa Kalunga
eli pu ove,
uatumbalekua unene pu valikaddi avese,
