Summary

Bird's-Eye View of the Forum: Jesus Hears His Death Sentence

Artists' Note:Jesus in the red cloak is flanked by the two thieves. The Marble column on which He was scourged still bears His Blood. His Cross is being prepared by the Roman soldiers on the ground behind Him. Pilate sits in the white semicircular colonnade and is surrounded by the priests.
